The Bridge Tzelefos and the Dam of Arminou

In the province of Paphos  just few kilometers away from the village of Agios Nikolaos there in an ideal location with platanos trees and heavy vegetation and wild life there is the medieval bridge Tzielefou or tzelefos

The medieval stone bridge that is the largest in Cyprus is built on the river  Diarizos tha feeds the dam of Arminou which is just below.

The Bridge was used in the years before to connect the western bank villages
the Milikouri, the Vretsia and St. John with the villages to the east, Agios Nikolaos Kaminaria and Three Olives

To get to the Bridge of Tzielefou from Limassol go to Trimiklini and turn left immediately after the large nursery on the right and the petrol station. You will pass by the villages K.Platres and Mandria and follow the signs to Arsos and then to Agios Nikolaos.

Before arriving in the village turn right towards the camp (see. Map)

You will pass by the dam of Arminou and continue until you reach a square with signs the you will go slightly left and you will see the bridge on
your left. If you continue straight on a few kilometers you will find the Bridge of ELIAS (Olive)

The bridge is found on GPS (on my own Garmin is mentioned as Kelefos Bridge)

Have a Good trip
